Fruit salad recipes

I want to make a traditional fruit salad.
The kind with apple, orange, grapes, pears and cherries. The thing is I remember something about boiling the orange rinds, but I haven’t got a clue what to do next. Please help me with my fruit salad =)

My husband is mexican and loves the authentic food. I am as american as can be. So, I have no clue where to begin. I’ve tried a copy of things but need more recipes. Any help is appreciated:-)

I’m going to start eating fruit salad for lunch and i have no clue on how to make it. So if you’re nice enough to give me some tips or recipes it would be greatly appreciated. Thx
